Timex, one of the most famous Watch brands in the world, has a history which is so rich it even has it's own dedicated museum - the Timexpo Museum in Waterbury, CT in the USA. Dating back to 1854 and introduced to the public in 1950, Timex has grown to be a household name. Founded originally as The Waterbury Clock Company, and making brass and metal clock parts, they changed their name to the Time Corporation in 1944 and started the famous watch brand, finally becoming Timex in 1969.
