Jeff Banks Socks

Starting out in 1964 with the London boutique “Clobber” before launching his own fashion label in 1969, Jeff Banks has a long and illustrious career in British fashion. Opening his first stand-alone store in 1974, Banks would later that decade be one of the founders of the fashion chain “Warehouse”. Winner of the British Designer of the Year award in both 1979 and 1980, Jeff Banks has earned a stong reputation amongst his fashion peers as well as high street consumers.

Away from the fashion runway and high street Banks has maintained a high media profile in the UK, through his 1968 marriage to 60s Mod pop princess Sandie Shaw, and later through presenting the BBC’s “Clothes Show” programme which garnered up to 10 million viewers at its peak.

More recently Jeff Banks has been involved with designs for the 2012 London Olympics and the England football team. Jeff Banks is a true icon of the British fashion scene from the Swinging Sixties up until the present day.
