The original company founded by John Boyd Dunlop in 1888 focused primarily on exploiting Boyd's famous invention of the pneumatic inflatable tyre. It wasn't until 1939 that the Dunlop brand moved into the Sporting arena. Well known for sporting equipment such as tennis balls, rackets and golfing equipment, it is perhaps the famous Greenflash trainer that Dunlop sports is most well known for. With an undoubted Sporting Heritage the Dunlop Greenflash trainer is an icon in it's own right, and is a style that will go out of fashion.
