wallpaper and similar patterned designs were often hand-painted directly onto a wall. The process of creating this pattern is complex – the black base is covered with purple, then
the gold screen is printed on top. This creates a depth of coverage that means the finish
cracks and ‘ages’ over time, replicating the peeling and flaking wallpaper on old mansions. With the traditional and iconic Mod Dr Martens silhouette it keeps that classic styling we all know and love. 'Pascal' is influenced by the traditional Dr Martens 8 eyelet style and creates a refreshing, contemporary companion to the iconic 1460 boot.
