TOOTAL Retro 1960's Mod Chequered Fringed Scarf

Tootal classic Chequered Flag print scarf, is designed for the legendary Motorcycle and Formula one champion John Surtees. The four time 500cc champ remains the only person to have won in titles in both sports, his victory's in the Motorcycle championships came in 1956, 1958, 1959 and 1960. In 1964 he then went on to become Forumula 1 World Champion, Surtes, OBE, has who has raced for teams such as Ferrari and and Lotus next used his experience on two and four wheels to set up the Surtees Racing Organisation and is also the ambassador for Racing Steps Foundation, which helps young racers in junior racing categories. The chequered print, alike that of the finishing flag in motor racing was inspired by John Surtees outstanding success in the sports.
