'Geno Washington' - Sixties Mod King Mojo T-shirt

Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band were great favourites with the mod King Mojo Club crowd and always played to a full house. With a setlist that included hits such as Hi Hi Hazel, Que Sera Sera and Michael the dancefloor would be packed with excited clubbers.

Geno had originally landed in the UK as a result of stint in the US air force. After being discharged Geno had foot stomped it down to london where he began fronting the 'Ram Jam Band' to awesome effect.

A popular artist amongst mods and Northern Soul fans Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band (Gage, Kingham, Beadle, Wright, Roberts and Prestige) were a well respected and highly acclaimed live band, putting on energetic performances that enthralled Sheffield's Mojo crowd and their infectious tunes consistently filled dancefloors and venues throughout the UK.
