The brand new 'What's Your Poison?' range from Magpie x Hornsea Pottery is based upon the original 1975 Poison mug series designed by famous Hornsea Pottery illustrater John Clappison. The illustrations are slightly redrawn from the originals by changing the band design to a self contained motif whilst moving the position of the 'poison of choice' to the front and back of the mug, rather than opposite the handle. Magpie also retain the one little poisonous 'flower' on the top right of the design. Produced in a cobalt blue glazed stoneware with genuine gold plating and presented in a matching gift box. This particular mugs poison of choice is 'Strychnine ', although this will fortunately not leave a bitter taste in the mouth.
