Palladium Boots
Palladium Boots
The original Palladium company was founded as early as 1920. Originally making tyres for the aviation industry, their expertise became so advanced, most European aircraft were equipped with Palladium tyres. By the end of WWII the demand for these tyres decreased substantially, but Palladium had an ingenious idea. Opening a factory in Pont de Cheruy, France, Palladium switched their expertise to the footwear market. The concept of manouvering the hard wearing and durable vulcanised rubber from their tyres to an equally hardwearing form of footwear seemed too good an opportunity to miss.
In 1947 Palladium's Pampa Boot was born, and largely thanks to it's functionality and comfort the Pampa Boots were soon adopted by the French Foreign Legion. With the French Foreign Legion the Boots were subjected to the vigorous and harsh conditions of the North African Desert and the terrain of the Atlas Mountains. They passed both tests with flying colours and their reputation was sealed.
Now with over 60 years of authenticity and with modern manufacturing techniques, not to mention access to a vast array of Palladium original archives, the Palladium legacy is living on thanks to it's original and fresh design and a new and stylish consumer. Palladium Boots and trainers are available in both Mens and Womens styles, each with a nod towards Palladium Retro Heritage and a Modern urban Indie style. From the famous Palladium 'Baggy' boots to the updated 'Pampa' Hi Top, to the classic Palladium 'Oxford' trainers, Palladium Retro Indie Boots and Trainers are most definitely here to stay!
