On a rainy day in Paris in 1965, K-Way founder, Leon-Claude Duhamel noticed a problem as people rushed through the streets in soaking wet clothing, struggling with cumbersome umbrellas, and so the idea for the K-Way Cagoule was born. Duhamel wanted to create a waterproof garment, designed to keep the wearer as dry as possible in a downpour, but would also be easy to carry and packable when not in use. The revolutionary K-Way Cagoule was the answer! Lightweight, comfortable and easy to wear in an oversized fit, and fully packable - it folded away completely into a small hip bag. This concept quickly caught on with sufferers of the damp British summer. These days K-Way jackets are loved by festival goers, football fans and mod casuals.
