DR MARTENS Mens Footwear:  Doc Martens, Docs or DMs are one of the worlds most famous brands of Boots, Shoes and Footwear. Distinct because of its air-cushioned sole (dubbed Bouncing Soles), amd developed by Dr. Klaus Märtens of Germany during the second World War. By 1959, the company had grown large enough that Märtens looked at marketing the footwear internationally. Almost immediately, British shoe manufacturer R. Griggs Group Ltd. bought patent rights to manufacture the shoes in the United Kingdom.
