An Overview of the Fila Vintage SS23 Collection
The Fila Vintage SS23 collection is as usual a bold statement of colour and casuals styling. The timeless Borg-esque tennis icons range such as the Settanta retro track top and Fila BB1 pinstripe polo shirt come in fresh seasonal colours to sit alongside the classics. Boasting a look of retro 1980s nostalgia with a contemporary twist, the Fila SS23 range elevates vintage sports silhouettes to encompass retro street style and classic indie looks. This seasons colour palette ensures the garments are primed for vacation attire, refreshing greens, blues and yellow to catch the eye.
Resort collar shirts are new to the collection, both in the Plain Cuban Collar Shirt and the intriguing seasonal Photographic Print Resort Collar Shirt, complete with tramline detailing, a homage to Fila's classic Terrinda archive style. Also taking influence from the Terrinda's stripe detailing is the Fila Vintage 'Willow' lightweight knit tee.
As well as the classic Marconi retro ringer t-shirts, there's a cool stripe 'Stan' crew in an array of colours, Fionn which incorporates the BB1 Borg pinstripe detailing, and the Benton grid check t-shirt which is steeped in 1980s retro style.
In terms of track jackets, as well as the aforementioned Settanta, theres a couple of velour statement peices - The Decker Colour Block Velour Track Top is destined to be a winner. Fusing classic casuals styling with classic mod colours, this tri-colour track jacket is a real stand out track top. The 'Lucas' Fila Velour Track Top also deserves a mention, not just for it's unusual short sleeve silhouette, but for it's unique take on the iconic Fila Vintage Settanta contrast side panel design with tipped trims and baseball collar.
The final word goes to the Ascari waffle knit button through pocket polo shirts, available in both navy and green - Part of the Fila Gold range, these smart pieces combine texture, colour and simple design that will add a neat mod edge to your spring and summer attire.
