Inspired by the Beatles 1968 trip to Rishikesh, India and the fashions from the east they popularised in the late 60s, the limited edition 'Moscow' 60s mod button down shirt is one of the centrepieces of the Pretty Green Beatles White Album collection. Rishikesh was the setting where many of the tracks on the Beatles 1968 White Album were written and as acoustic guitars were the only western instruments available, directly influenced the albums acoustic and back-to-basics approach.
Distinctive yet perhaps more understated psychedelic undertones remained prevalent in The Beatles work in 1968 and this 'Moscow' print paisley shirt echoes the sights and sounds of psychedelia and underground happenings of the time.
