Tootal, Broadhurst and Lee (comprising of Edward Tootal Braodhurst, Henry Tootal Broadhurst and Henry Lee) were a prominent UK Textile manufacturers. The origins of the company date back to 1799 under the guidance of textile merchant Robert Gardner (The Tootal family involvement began in 1842). Tootal moved into their famous British home, The Tootal Building in Manchester's Oxford Street in 1898. The building had been specially built to house Tootal and was its UK base for many years. This collection comes nearly 215 years after the companies inception - Tootal are making scarves that are still steeped in heritage style with essential hints of Retro nostalgia and iconic Mod style.
Traditionally made in Paisley or Polkadots, and in silk and later Rayon, Tootal Scarves are now available in traditional Sixties styles as well as in contemporary, updated Indie designs.
